PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
The Hebrew Hammers follow WBC rules, any player eligible to be a citizen of a country is entitled to play for The Hebrew Hammers softball team, even if the player has not obtained citizenship. Israel's Law of Return gives anyone with a Jewish parent or grandparent, or who is married to a Jew, the right to return to Israel and to be an Israeli citizen. Press Release
The Hebrew Hammers Bring the Heat to Lakeland
The Hebrew Hammers descended on Lakeland for the Half Century Tournament this weekend.
Walking away with a winning record, the Hammers proved they are a force to be reckoned with on the diamond.
Game 1: The Statement Maker
Hammers 23, Jupiter All-Stars 8
The tournament opened with a definitive "run rule" clinic. The Hammers' bats were on fire from the first pitch, dismantling the Jupiter All-Stars in a lopsided 23–8 victory. It wasn't just a win; it was a warning shot to the rest of the bracket.
Game 2: The Grit Test
Hammers 18, Stonewall Grill 17
In what turned into an absolute seesaw battle, the Hammers showed their mental toughness against Stonewall Grill. Every time the Grill answered back, the Hammers found another gear. In a high-stakes finish, the boys pulled out a narrow 18–17 win, proving they can win the "dogfights" just as well as the blowouts.
Game 3: Facing the "Major Plus" Curveball
Florida boys from talahasse24, Hammers 12
Even the best teams hit a snag. The Hammers faced off against a Major Plus tournament team that—by all appearances—was playing in the wrong bracket. Despite dealing with them using illegal bats and playing at a different tier, the Hammers stayed in the fight, eventually falling 24–12. It was a tough pill to swallow, but the Hammers kept their heads high.
Game 4: The Sebastian Shutdown
Hammers 18, Vaya (Sebastian) 14
Determined to finish on a high note, the Hammers took on Vaya from Sebastian. In a "touch-and-go" affair that kept fans on the edge of their seats, the Hammers’ defense locked it down when it mattered most. They secured an 18–14 victory to close out the tournament with a strong 3–1 record.
The hammers take the summer off till their next Florida half century tournament August 15 and 16 in Vero Beach
Tournament Takeaway: With three hard-earned wins and a relentless offensive showing, the Hebrew Hammers left Lakeland with plenty to be proud of. When they play on a level field, there aren't many teams that can keep up with this team

Pompano Autism Charity Senior Softball Tournament
MAY 12, 2023
The Hebrew Hammers played their first game at 9:30 AM against A state ranked half-century team a.k.a. 60s. The Hebrew Hammers came out strong from the start and won the game 10-0 to advance in the winners bracket. The next game was against the primetime players from West Palm Beach. It was a hard-fought close game and Hebrew Hammers had one bad ending with multiple errors giving them five runs. The Hammers tied the game in the last inning 11-11 and unfortunately lost that game in the last inning 12 to 11, which brought them into the losers bracket. The third game of the day was played against the Steve Levin Ameriprise team, which is also a state ranked 65 Half century team. The hammers started the game ahead 5 to 0. It was a tough game but the Hammer defense was overwhelming and they won the game 9 to 6. And now the fourth game of the day was a rematch against the primetime West Palm Beach players. From the beginning the Hammers were unstoppable. Their hitting and defense could not be stopped. Although we were getting tired from playing four games in one day that Hebrew Hammers prevailed and won that game 19 to 1. It was at this time that the Hammers solidified the victory and won the Autism Tournament in the 60s bracket.
